Before buying an item through LoloBuy, check whether the proposed shipping route accepts its exact contents and destination. A product listing alone does not establish delivery eligibility.
Separate purchase, route and import permission
Three checks need to align:
- Can the agent accept the purchase?
- Will the chosen carrier and route accept the item?
- Is the item permitted at the destination, with any required documentation?
A product card answers none of those questions on its own. LoloBuy can mark restricted warehouse items with a prohibited icon, and a restricted item can also limit a mixed parcel’s route options.
Identify the contents precisely
Use the listing to prepare a description for support. A broad category such as “accessory” or “electronic item” may leave out the characteristic that matters.
| Product or characteristic | Details to establish before asking about a route |
|---|---|
| Perfume or another liquid | Exact product, composition if supplied, bottle size, quantity and packaging |
| Electronics | Model, whether a battery is present, battery type and whether it is built in or separate |
| Food, powder or gel | Exact contents, quantity and any required identification or documents |
| Large or long items | Packed dimensions, weight and any individual packing requirement |
| Branded goods | Seller legitimacy, authorisation where applicable and import eligibility |
Liquids, powders, gels and other sensitive categories can need additional assessment. Do not generalise a small-volume example into permission for every perfume or every destination. A restriction on one battery configuration is not a complete rule for all electronics.
Check the warehouse restriction before submitting a parcel
If an item shows a restricted status, ask support to verify it with the logistics provider for your destination and intended route. Do not assume an icon can be removed simply because another buyer shipped something similar.
Make the enquiry specific:
I intend to send [exact item and quantity] to [destination]. It contains [relevant characteristic]. Please confirm whether [route] accepts it, what documents or packaging are needed and any limits that apply.
Keep the reply with the parcel quote. Recheck if you change the contents or route.
Do not use mixed packing to bypass a restriction
A parcel containing ordinary clothing and a restricted item still contains the restricted item. Splitting quantities, changing descriptions or choosing another route does not make prohibited goods lawful.
LoloBuy’s prohibited categories include dangerous or illegal goods and counterfeit or pirated goods. Warehouse photos do not establish authenticity or seller authorisation. If the purchase or shipment cannot be accepted, check the return and cancellation options rather than submitting it under a misleading description.
Compare an eligible parcel, then compare cost
Once acceptance is clear, review the actual packed weight, dimensions and route price. Combining parcels can alter route availability and packing, so use the international shipping checklist for a fresh comparison.
For destination declarations and document requests, use the import-cost guide. If the carrier returns a shipment, identify the cause using the parcel return steps before arranging another dispatch.
Common shipping restriction questions
Can I send perfume with clothing?
Do not assume so. Confirm the specific liquid, quantity, destination and route before buying or consolidating.
Are all electronics treated the same?
No. Give the model and battery details where relevant. Check the route’s answer for that configuration.
Can support approval guarantee customs clearance?
No. Carrier acceptance and destination clearance are separate checks.
Does a prohibited icon mean the item can never be sent?
It means the current restriction needs investigation. Ask what applies to the exact item; do not attempt a workaround while eligibility is unresolved.
